WHAT WE BELIEVE
The Old and New Testament
(The Authority of the Scriptures)
The Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments (The Holy Bible) were given by inspiration of God and the only sufficient, certain, and authoritative rule of all saving knowledge, faith and obedience. We accept the Bible as our infallible guide in matters pertaining to conduct and doctrine.
The Doctrine of God
We believe that God is the creator and sustainer of the universe who has provided humankind with a revelation of Himself through the natural world and through His Son, Jesus Christ.
We believe that the Bible does not seek to prove the existence of God; it simply affirms His existence by declaring, "In the beginning God..." (Gen 1:1). God has revealed Himself through the physical universe (Ps 19:1; Rom 1:19-20).
The greatest revelation of God comes through the Bible. Through this inspired written record, both the existence of God and the nature of God are revealed in and through Jesus Christ. Jesus stated, "He that has seen me, has seen the Father" (John 14:9).
Our aim is to promote interdependence while maintaining independence. "Simon Peter, a servant and an Apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained LIKE PRECIOUS FAITH with us..." 11 Peter 1: 1
We promote companionship and mutual sharing of interests, ideas and information. Our aim is unity without uniformity. "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in UNITY!" Psalms 133:1
Our aim is accountability without jurisdiction. "Therefore encourage on another and build up one another, just as you also are doing. But we request (beseech or ask), brethren that you appreciate (know) those who labor among you..." and to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves." I Thessalonians 5:11-13
The Praise Covenant Interdenominational Fellowship will communicate with member churches and ministries on a monthly basis via audiotape, videotape or newsletter. Our aim is to edify and inform while dispensing with unnecessary and taxing obligation. "My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge (range of information and understanding)" Hosea 4:6
The purpose of the Praise Covenant Interdenominational Fellowship (PCIF) is to provide a broad range of spiritual, educational, and professional benefits to assist churches and ministries in fulfilling their respective roles to the Body of Christ.
The major thrust of PCIF is to become a catalyst for the uniting of churches that will unite to create and deliver innovative programing to grow each church individually and corporately and to become recognized leaders and a valued asset in the communities in which we serve. We fervently desire to see that members are provided with the necessary tools to mature their individual call and purpose as a Christian. While we are not an eclectic organization and do not seek to dominate, or control the local assembly, we do desire the collective wisdom and sensitivity of God towards the Body of Christ as evidenced by our participants.
PCIF does not seek to be an instrument of ecclesiastical restraint in the sense of diminishing the member church or ministry's unique existence, but rather to augment and enhance the member's individual calling and vision.

As we find a connection through the sharing of ideas we find it necessary to enter into partnership. As partners we are-on the same team-but, we maintain our own distinct identity and individuality in Christ. The Praise Covenant Interdenominational Fellowship does not seek to be an instrument and ecclesiastical restraint in the sense of diminishing the member church or ministry's individual calling.
We find that there is a great strength in the diversity of our backgrounds and experiences throughout the Body of Christ. Therefore, it is not our desire to become uniform in method, operation nor function. It is through Fellowship that we take full advantage of the collective wisdom, knowledge and judgment that comes from God.
Establishing and maintaining strong relationships is vital to the success of the Fellowship. As we make every effort to strengthen one another we certainly recognize the importance of knowing one another, respecting one another and esteeming each member highly
The sharing of vital information and words of encouragement causes the participants of an organization or group to feel connected and to have mutual understanding. Regular consistent communication by the written word was practiced in the early church.
PCIF is structured and organized to provide training for preaching, teaching and fostering the growth of Christian Faith to all its member churches. PCIF is an outreach and assistance organization for ministries and churches that will help ministries get started in various areas of organization such as: training, structure, leadership development, and spiritual support.
Membership into PCIF involves a process that is beneficial to both the candidate and the Fellowship.
